One of the leading Christmas market events in the UK returns to Beverley on Sunday, 12 December with The Beverley Festival of Christmas 2021, proudly sponsored by The Beverley Arms.
The festival returns following last year’s cancellation due to the pandemic and will light up the historic market town for a 25th year.
Thousands made the trip to the one-day event in 2019, with visitors travelling from all corners of the UK to experience fine Christmas food, drink and arts and crafts.
As ever, there will be plenty of fun things for both adults and children alike, from live music, dancing and carols, to face painting, traditional Victorian fairground rides and the chance to get a picture with Santa.
East Yorkshire Events continue to monitor the government guidelines regarding COVID-19 and will ensure the event can be brought back to the town in a responsible and COVID-secure manner.
Keep an eye out for future updates as plenty more is set to be announced as we get closer to the festive period, with more activities to be added!
Councillor Jane Evison, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “The Beverley Festival of Christmas is one of the flagship events for our region and is an important date in the calendar for high street businesses.
“Year-on-year, it is a hugely popular event, with visitors from all over the UK coming to enjoy over 100 festive stalls and festive entertainment. We are delighted that the festival is back after a year off and we are determined to make this year the best festival yet. I’m sure this will prove to be a popular event again and we look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to the East Riding as we all get into the festive mood in preparation for Christmas.”
