Police warn of the spike of Theft's from Local Farms in East Yorkshire 1

Humberside Police have sent a message out after an increase in thefts from local farms over the last week. 

There have been a number of thefts from farms around the Bridlington and  Driffield areas, including Wold Newton, Kilham and Carnaby.

Police say outbuildings have been forced entry and various items stolen, namely motor vehicles such as quad bikes.

Enquiries are ongoing at current time into these reported crimes.

Officers are asking land owners and farmers to ensure all machinery and valuables are securely locked up and all vehicles are immobilised. 

Should you witness any suspicious activity, any quad bikes being ridden around late at night or early hours of the morning, in suspicious circumstances, please report to Police on 999 or 101 for non-emergency.
