A Beverley Resident after Reading numerous posts re the rubbish left round Beverley from Lisa Shaw and others decided to become pro active and do something about it. Below is her humble statement this morning on Facebook in our BEVERLEY group
“After reading some comments on various Facebook postings recently I decided to undertake a full and detailed inspection of our patch of green here off grovehill road /St Nicholas road.
I chose a frosty morning. Well more a heavy dew than frost. I got wet feet. As the sun rose at 6:19 this morning I was out with my tidy bag and poky stick.
The daily parade of pooches here is quite something. My Dona greets the new and unknown from the upstairs window at the Dobie house. We are working on that. I would to congratulate all the Dogwalkers on this patch. This morning I found only one new frozen little nugget on the grass. (Small dog). This was bagged up and binned along with the usual suspects by the bushes. Four bags in total. That is not bad at all considering the situation we all find ourselves in. ❤️🤓🐾
I did manage to fill a bag with various cans and wrappers as I walked through to Mintfields. All feels so much nicer now.
A beautiful spring morning. All clean and tidy for a new day. Stay safe everyone.”
Thankyou Lisa Baker from all here at Yorkshire Coast Online.
